Part II. Identifying your GOAL

Now, think about something that you want to accomplish this week. A stretch goal. Remember, these are your “big picture” goals and can look different for everyone.

And use the SMART concepts to layout how you want to approach that stretch goal. 

Specific

Measurable

Achievable

Realistic

Timeline

You can use the general to do list that you just made to think about how you want to manage your time.

Adding one additional step, write why this is something you want to accomplish. Be as specific as possible. If you want to look for a job, try and dig deep into what you hope a new position can bring you.

(Note, if you struggle with the “why” it might mean this is not the right stretch goal for this week. And that’s fine.)
